I was trying to change imei on a friends htc mytouch 4g device, i noticed d bootloader has a glitch in accepting oem modification commands i.e fastboot oem writeimei 356xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
follow these steps if you want to change your imei
1.unlock your bootloader (head down to htcdev.com)
2. download my bootloader/IMEI MOD tool (supports mytoch4g,htc incredible 2 nd htc desire hd nd inspire 4g)
3.run the tool and follow the on screen steps
4. make sure your usb works
5. testify
